Waste & Recycling Station & Drop off Boxes
The Adams Waste and Recycling Center (AWAR) on 95 Trefz Road is a transfer station where residents can drop off their waste for a nominal fee and sell recyclables, non-ferrous metals, and some auto parts. Buy-back recycling payment rates are variable due to market dependency.
•Materials we pay for – aluminum cans, scrap aluminum, copper brass, batteries, radiators, lead, alternators, starters, and more.
•Materials we take on donation – paper & cardboard, plastic bottles, glass bottles, steel, appliances, computers
•Other … Garbage is accepted for a fee of .08 per pound, and tires are accepted for fees (based on tire size) starting at $2.00 per tire.
Community Drop off Boxes – Community recycling boxes accept the following materials, and are available 24/7. Please wash all containers and throw away lids.
